A Fun Time Together

Fong Lye Restaurant, Taiwan Cuisine @ Sunway Pyramid

                                                                                   

I came to Sunway Pyramid after class with my friends which are Bella, Jo Yan, Sandra, Vanessa, Huey Wen, Jacelyn, Leo, Chun Sam and also Hong Xian to complete our business communication assignment which need to set up a food- centric blog. So, the first thing we need to do is to find a restaurant. We walk around the mall and finally we choose the Fong Lye Restaurant. 

Fong Lye Restaurant is very famous in Malaysia. This restaurant is a place that serves mainly Taiwanese food and also the Taiwanese desserts. As I stepped in the restaurant, the interior decoration caught my eye. It was very neat and nice. The settees were very comfortable too. The menu of this restaurant would definitely get a thumb up because all of the dishes are accompanied with their respective photo and some description.

It was very hard for us to choose what food we should order because the menu has variety of foods. After looking at the menu, finally I’ve ordered Steam Fish with Pineapples and Taiwan Marinated Sweet Bean Set Meal. The fish was delicious and fresh, plus the source used was super tasty. So, the combination of the source and the fish were perfect. Other than the main dish which was the fish, there were 3 side dishes such as the vegetable, mua zhi, and also the crab meat with cheese. Besides that, there was an additional radish soup which was pretty good because it doesn’t carry very strong taste but gave a nice smell of the aroma. Lastly, there was rice with meat on top of it. Although the meat tastes good but it was too fatty for me.

Other than the steam fish, I have ordered a plate of sweet potato balls and shared it with my friends. The sweet potato balls tasted really good. The last time I ate this was in Cameron Highland last year. I thought I could only find this sweet potato balls in Cameron Highland. Hence, when I saw this in the menu, I straight away ordered it because I love to eat it.

When we were eating, my friend, Chun Sam’s chopsticks accidentally dropped down. As he wanted to pick up, the waiter gave him a new pair of chopsticks in a very short timing. After that, my another friend, Leo dropped down his chopsticks again. Less than 10 seconds, the waiter brought him a new pair of chopsticks. This showed that the restaurant’s waiters and waitresses were very helpful and efficient. It also proved that their services are very good. Besides that, the environment of this restaurant was really nice, it made me enjoyed so much while I’m eating. I also was chatting and joking with my friends and took a lot of photos with them. It was a fantastic moment for all of us.

If come to Sunway Pyramid, Fong Lye would be the best restaurant to choose for a warm lunch or dinner because the price is affordable and reasonable, the great environment and yet the foods are guarantee nice!
