SAvBJ^2H: A little Taiwan taste in Malaysia

It was on Wednesday, 19th of September, me and the other 6 sexy girls ( Adriane,huey wen,Sandra, Joyan,Jacelyn,and Vanessa) and 3 our ‘bodyguards’ (Leo,Sam and Hong Xian) went to one of Taiwan restaurant,Fong Lye Taiwan Cuisine Restaurant at LG1.43 at SunwayPyramid,after celebrating our friend’s birthday,Radha.

When I was walking to the restaurant, the atmosphere I felt was relax, calm, maybe its due to the decoration of the restaurant which was so simple and very chinese to me.As the waitress welcomed us to our table very friendly, I sat between hueywen and Adriane.It was really confusing when it came to order,first so many dishes that I wanted to try while I had to beware because I didn’t eat beef.After 10 minutes, I finally chose . A set menu,BBQ Drumstick, with price RM.19.80.

While waited for our dishes, we talked and mocking our friend, Sandra and Sam (SamDra or SamSan) who both from Kelantan,they knew each other for a long time and we liked to mock them as a couple. As I saw during waiting for my meal, most of people who came to restaurant were workers, and I thought my group was the only student there though we also saw a couple of monk there.

It was set menu, so I got a bowl of rice with minced pork on top, a plate of the appetizer, a hotplate of the BBQ drumstick,and a soup. I enjoyed my rice much well the truth was I LOVED IT!, it was so soft and delicious minced pork on top, and the main dishes, BBQ Drum, it wasn’t like I was expected, it was nice but not delicious enough but still nice to eat,for me it would be better if the chef put more flavour or bbq sauce there, I also tasted the soup, It was not nice for me, the taste was herbal and I didn’t like herbal soup,so i gave it to HongXian and the appetizer which I supposed to eat for very first time, become the last meal I ate, it was nice, I liked the sauce on crab pie but I thought it would be better if it was warm. But the thing I was impressed was the presentation of the food,they set the meal with the unique plate, I never saw the restaurant which put the meal like decoration! But although I liked their dish decoration, the thing which most important was the food! I liked it though It wasn’t like I was expected.
During eating,my friends,Leo and Sam kept dropping their chopsticks, I had no idea why they did like that though they used to use chopsticks a lot of time, but the waitress didn’t mind when they kept asking for new chopsticks which prove they had great services and always smiled at us no matter what we did.also, me and my friends tasted each other dishes.Well, I tasted some of them,because the rest was ordering beef which I didn’t eat.I tasted HueyWen’s Crispy Chicken and Adriane’s steam Fish, Oh, I LOVED adriane’s one, it was so delicious,so yummy, and I had no idea how to describe the fish and so warm (I always liked warm food) and so me!! And remind me of my favourite steamed fish in Indonesia… I loved fish, I seldom ate fish since I came to Malaysia. And I promise if I would go to this restaurant again,I would order this fish! It was so mouthwatering!!
As I saw, this restaurant never empty, it was not so crowded and not so empty and the environment was cozy. Here some picture of the simple decoration

Overall, for me,this restaurant was only ok, i could not to eat here oftenly because the price was not nice with my wallet, but it was worth for the joy and fun I felt with my friends and plus they got nice service which I was impressed:)!After we ate, we took some pictures for memories! thanks to leo!
